Description

Arvon Writing for Radio residential courses

Will you become one of the 50 writers to make their debut on British radio next year? There are real opportunities out there, with commissioners seeking out new material from all kinds of writers – from novelists to playwrights, poets and comedy writers.

An Arvon Writing for Radio course will focus on character and story development, dialogue and sound, as well as offering practical tips and advice for getting your work commissioned. In a supportive environment with fellow writers, our expert tutors will guide you and share their experience in our daily workshops and individual tutorials. Whether you want to create a radio play or experiment with this unique format, you will have fun and be inspired to keep writing.

If you can’t afford the full cost of the course, you can apply for a grant up to the full course fee. Download the grant pack
