APRIL Face Britain April 19 – 21

Over 200,000 thousands of self portraits by children from across the UK will be projected on to the frontage of Buckingham Palace to form a montage image of HM The Queen, from 8.30pm on Thursday, April 19. The Face Britain projections will run from 8.30pm to 11.30pm for three nights until Saturday, April 21. www.facebritain.org.uk

An eight-foot, giant hockey ball will be rolling its way into Bristol on 23 April 2012, as part of The npower Big Dribble. Now’s your chance to take part in a nationwide record attempt to ‘dribble’ a hockey ball an incredible 2012km. Verdi’s scintillating Shakespearian comedy starring Ambrogio Maestri in the title role is a feast of romance, intrigue and comic confusion.
