HOLIDAY FOR 2 TO JAMAICA  ANNOUNCED!

The Jamaican Diaspora UK is pleased to formally confirm the outcome of
the 4th Biennial National UK Conference Raffle, which was drawn on
SATURDAY 14 JUNE 2014 IN BIRMINGHAM, WEST MIDLANDS.

VALID ENTRY
A total of 2,443 valid raffle tickets were received from across the UK
and entered in the draw. These were checked by two community leaders (1
x north and 1 south) and validated by Conference Chair Bishop Derek
Webley MBE, Treasurer – Desmond Jaddoo and JDUK Chair – Sasha
Henry-Crawford.

THE DRAW

 The Jamaican Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs &
Foreign Trade The Honourable Arnaldo Brown was invited to draw the for
the 1st prize.

Mr. Lloyd Wilks – Head of the Diaspora and Consular Affairs Department
within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Jamaica was
invited to draw the 2nd prize.

THE WINNERS
1st prize – Ms. Joy Simms from Birmingham

2nd prize – Ms. Lisa Anderson from London

1st prize

                                           Mr Torrance Lewis from the Jamaica Tourist Board awards 1st prize –
                                                                 holiday for 2 to Jamaica to Ms Joy Simms.


Thanks to the JAMAICA TOURIST BOARD AND GRACE KENNEDY for funding the
raffle prizes and to everyone in the community for supporting the JDUK
Conference and entering the prize draw.
