Why Vote Bristol Thursday 16th April@ Trinity Centre 6-8pm

UoS why vote 2015

Voscur in association with Up Our Street are running a general election constituency husting’s at the Trinity Centre, Bristol; on Thursday 16th April between 6pm & 8pm. This will be broadcast live on both BCfm 93.2 and Ujima 98fm.

After careful consideration and consultation with the Electoral Commission, we have invited four candidates from parties that secured over 3% of the vote in the constituency at the last general election in 2010. We believe this criteria is both fair and impartial in relation to the running of a time limited non-selective husting’s under the criteria provided by the Electoral Commission. Therefore the following candidates have been invited:

  • Stephen Williams MP (Liberal Democrat)
  • Darren Hall (Green Party)
  • Thangam Debbonaire (Labour)
  • Claire Hiscott (Conservative).
  • The panel will be chaired by Roger Griffith, of Ujima Radio CIC

To ensure a “fair play” to all our candidates, Ujima Radio 98fm  have and will continue to provide a platform where all candidates can be heard in one-on-one radio interviews before the election.
