  • Kicking off the festival on Tuesday night…a focus on music in film with an audience with the Fun Lovin Criminals’ Huey Morgan talking about his favourite film soundtracks of all time.
  • A Petite Perpetual Cinema showing children’s short films crated by children themselves! FREE to attend all day Saturday from 10am.
  • Themed collections of the short films competing this year to make it easier for audiences including comedy, love, music video and festival favourite and sell out show each year, Late Lounge!
  • See all the award winning films in one programme at 1pm and 5pm on Sunday – if you just fancy the best of the best.
  • The debut of a new short film by Richard Williams, world famous animator based in Bristol (renowned for creating Roger Rabbit) – a dark and beautiful animation called Prologue showing in competition.
  • There will be FREE film screenings from all the European Short Film winners this year in a Programme called Short Matters on Wed, Thurs & Friday nights.
  • Swiss Filmmaker¬†Ursula Meir will partner on stage with Bristol based musician and film score writer John Parish to talk about the relationships between film and music on Saturday night.
  • Women in Film strand exploring the role of women behind and in front of the camera ¬†with a short film programme showcasing though provoking female characters.
