Mayoral Candidates Answer Questions

On Wednesday 20th April at Arnolfini Bristol, four of the Mayoral Candidates were questioned by a live audience of 200 people on their plans for a sustainable future city.

Over 200 people attended the sold-out hustings event which was been organised by our partners Bristol Green Capital Partnership CIC alongside Bristol Pound, Bristol Cycling Campaign, Friends of the Earth and Sustrans.

Laura Rawlings, of BBC Radio Bristol, hosted the debate with candidates George Ferguson (Bristol 1st), Kay Barnard (Liberal Democrat), Tony Dyer (Green) and Marvin Rees (Labour).

Key themes included recycling and sustainable living, transport and getting more people from around the city engaged in Bristol’s future including a mention for Ujima’s Green and Black campaign.
