We are pleased to welcome back Seb Choudhury to Ujima Radio tomorrow on Bristol’s Big Conversation with Roger Griffith 11-12pm on Thursday 24th August on Ujima Radio.

You are most likely to recognise Seb Choudhury as the face of the 10pm news bulletin on BBC Points West, where he has worked for the past 11 years. After training as a newspaper reporter in the 90’s, Choudhury worked at BBC 5 Live and several other local radio stations around the UK.

He also spent time working at BBC Midlands Today, before settling down at Points West.

Last year, Choudhury donated his kidney to save his mother’s life, who otherwise would have been placed on the organ donation list, with a possible waiting time of around ten years. The story was featured BBC programme Transplants and Trafficking, and helped to raise awareness of the low number of organ donors of an Asian origin.

As well as making his BBC Springwatch debut last month, in which he presented a programme surrounding wild boar within the Forest of Dean, Choudhury will be hosting the new series of Inside Out West, starting September 5th on BBC One West.
