Ujima Organ-ising for Your Community” Keep The Beat”

The event held at South Bank Club Bedminster took place during a fantastic and busy Black History Month to raise awareness of the lack of Organ donation in the Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Communities . It featured BBC’s Seb Chowdhury himself a Living Organ Donor, music from Troy Ellis, poetry from Miles Chambers and contributions from several community leaders and artists.

There has been plenty of good feedback and Ujima will be working with the key health agencies to ensure this issue stays on everyone’s agenda and continue to support this important issue.
